Friday night was awesome!
600 players. 56 teams. Hundreds of families. One fantastic evening at Canyonside.
There's a moment every Opening Night where you look around and just think — yup, this is why we do it.
Friday had a lot of those moments.
The energy, the parade, the crowd, the kids in uniform... it doesn't get much better than that.
And then Saturday, the games began.
Spring 2026 is officially here!

💥 First Dinger of the Season: Jacob Thurmes
The season is barely 48 hours old and we already have our first home run.
Jacob Thurmes of the Minor A Pickle Padres went yard — in style — with a grand slam to kick off Spring 2026.
Jacob's name goes up first on the Dinger Board, presented by Marston Orthodontics.
Every player who homers this season earns a spot on the board, and entry into the Home Run Derby at Closing Day on May 30th.

How It Helps RPLL
For every first-time Sandlot student, 15% of class dues are given back directly to RPLL.
It’s a simple way to invest in player development while supporting league programs at the same time.
