RPLL Families,

Our regular season is over. That sentence is actually pretty weird to write.

From when we opened registration last November, to the first practice in February, to Closing Day on May 30th, this league ran — I mean really ran.

Six hundred players. Fifty-five teams. Hundreds of games. And behind every single one of them, a volunteer who helped set something up, called something out, or stayed late to put it all back the way they found it.

I want to take this issue to say thank you in a way that I hope resonates with you on the receiving end of this newsletter.

Thank you to every coach who spent countless hours running practices, building lineups, managing games, and losing sleep debating if they did it all as best as they could’ve.

Thank you to our umpires and junior umpires who held the line with patience and consistency all season long.

Thank you to every board member and team volunteer who solved problems most families never knew existed.

And thank you to every family who trusted us to deliver a great baseball experience for their player, and got kids to practice on a Tuesday night when everyone was tired.

Our postseason is still very much alive. All-Stars teams from 10U through 14U are active right now.

Our Big Stars and Little Stars teams are in action too. This community's job isn't done yet — and I'll tell you how to support them below.

There's also a lot ahead: Fall Ball, a summer store promotion, board elections, and some exciting tournament news I want to make sure you see. It's all in this issue.

Thank you again for everything and see you at the fields.

📣 We're Hosting — And We Need Your Help

RPLL is hosting two tournaments here in June — the Juniors All-Stars Tournament and the Little Stars Tournament, both at Canyonside Park.

That means our fields, our families, and our name are front and center for teams from across our district. Hosting at this level takes real coordination; field prep, setup, snack shack support, and the kind of presence that tells visiting teams they landed somewhere serious.

We need volunteers to make it happen.

If you have an hour to give, please sign up below. Every shift helps.

📸 Closing Day Photos Are Here

Closing Day was a full day with our Home Run Derby, end-of-season ceremonies, and a lot of baseball families soaking in the last moments of the spring season together.

Photos from the day are now available. Take a look, find your kids, and save the ones that are going to end up on the wall.

And thank you to Merryframes for capturing the day!

🍂 Fall Ball Is Coming

The spring season is behind us. Fall Ball is ahead.

Registration will open in July, with the season getting underway in September.

If your player wants to lock in their spot before things fill up — stay close to your inbox.

We'll send details as soon as registration opens.

👉 Watch for registration details at RPLL.org

🗳️ Board Elections Are Coming — Get Involved

RPLL is a volunteer-run organization, end to end.

Every year, we elect board members who plan the season, manage the operations, handle the budget, and make the calls that keep our league running for 600+ players.

If you've spent the season watching how this works and thought "I could help with that", we want to hear from you.

Board elections for the 2026–2027 season are coming soon. If you're interested in joining the board, reach out and let us know. There's a role for a lot of different skill sets.

👉 Express interest or ask questions → [email protected]

🌟 Thank You to Our 2026 Season Sponsors

None of this happens without community support and that includes the businesses and organizations who invested in RPLL this season.

A sincere thank you to everyone who sponsored the 2026 season. Your support kept registration accessible, fields game-ready, and this league running the way it should.

If you're a family who frequents any of these businesses: let them know you're an RPLL family. They supported us. Supporting them is how we say thank you, and keep the relationship going.

⚾️ In Closing

Organizing a Little League season is a strange thing. It starts as a calendar full of to-do’s and ends as a stack of incredible memories.

600+ kids played RPLL baseball this spring because hundreds of families and volunteers decided to make it happen.

That takes real coordination, real patience, and a lot of early mornings and late evenings that nobody sees, or submits an expense report for.

Every season this league runs is proof that our PQ Baseball community still knows how to do something hard together. We’ve done it for 53 years and we’ll do it again to make it 54.

We don't take that for granted. Thank you RPLL.

See you in the fall.
